Mysore University ties up with NNE for publishing examination results

The University of Mysore (UOM) has tied up with the National Network of Education (NNE) for the publication of its examination results on www.ExamResults.net and SMS.The results of the varsity will now be available on www.ExamResults.net and www.KarnatakaEducation.net.

Students will also be able to access their results on SMS through 56263. The details of how to access the results through SMS will be available when the results are declared.

Speaking about the initiative, an official from the varsity said, "The University is ready to host its examination results on NNE's portals from the next examinations and onwards."

"The tie-up with University of Mysore will ensure that students get their results instantly, from anywhere in the state or the country. NNE is committed to offer its best services to all education institutes in the country. All results of the University will now be announced on both the mediums (internet and SMS) simultaneously", said NNE's Technical Coordinator, Mr. Siddharth Jalan.

The University of Mysore was the first University outside the domain of the English administration in India, the sixth University in India as a whole, and the first ever University in Karnataka.

During the institution of the University in 1916, four faculties were constituted viz., Arts, Science, Engineering and Technology, and Medicine. Seperate Boards of Studies and Boards of Examiners were constituted in 28 subjects. The University was also administering 12 other educational institutions.

www.ExamResults.net is India's largest examination results portal, with the results of more than 2 million students across the country declared on the portal in 2009.
