Ohio Bar Exam Results From July 2009 Exam - October 30, 2009

Ohio Bar Exam results from the July 2009 exam! The Ohio Supreme Court has just released the July 2009 Ohio Bar Exam results online, which was administered in Columbus July 28 through July 30. Out of the 1,177 applicants who sat for the exam, 957 (81.3 percent) received passing scores; out of 1,046 first-time applicants, 87.8 percent received passing scores.

According to Ohio Supreme Court official website (http://www.supremecourt.ohio.gov/), Applicants who were successful on the examination and who have satisfied all of the Supreme Court’s other requirements for admission will be sworn in next month. The oath will be administered during special public sessions of the Supreme Court that will be held Monday, Nov. 9, at 10:30 a.m. (The Ohio State University, Capital University, University of Dayton, University of Cincinnati and Northern Kentucky University) and 2 p.m. (Cleveland State University, Case Western University, the University of Toledo, Ohio Northern University, the University of Akron and out-of-state schools) at the historic Ohio Theatre, 39 E. State St., in Columbus.

“Admissions Ceremonies for successful July examinees who have met all admission requirements: The Nov. 9 Bar Admissions ceremonies will be recorded as a service for the newly admitted attorneys, their families and guests. The video will contain coverage of the entire event, including all speakers and the presentation of wall certificates.
