Clerk-Cum-Cashier (Office Assistant) : 4410-215/3 - 5055-335/3 - 6060-470/4 - 7940-500/3 - 9440-560/4 – 11680-970/1 - 12650-560/1 - 13210.
AGE (as on 01.09.2009): Minimum 18 years – Maximum 26 years
Educational Qualification :
(a) Degree from a recognized University in any discipline or its equivalent.
OR
(b) Pass with 50% marks in aggregate in Higher Secondary Examination of 10+2+3 pattern/XI standard of 11+3 pattern/Pre-degree or intermediate or any equivalent examination.
OR
(c) Diploma in Banking recognized by Central/ State Governments or Union Territory.
OR
(d) Pass with minimum 60% marks in aggregate in matriculation/Senior School certificate (Old pattern)/ or equivalent.
AND
2. Proficiency in local language (i.e. Hindi) is essential and good knowledge of English is required.
Preference will be given to candidates with Computer knowledge.

The Bank came into existence on 23 December 1976, under the provisions of Section 3 of the Regional Rural Banks Act, 1976 (No. 21 of 1976) with its Head Office at Mandi (H.P.). The Bank is sponsored by Punjab National Bank. The Bank is incorporated as a Scheduled Bank in Schedule – II of Reserve Bank of India Act, 1934 and is authorized to affect banking transactions as permitted under section 5(b) of Banking Regulations Act, 1949.

Big power projects like Parvati, Larji, Nathpa Jhakri, Kol Dam etc. are coming up. Bhakhara Dam, Satluj Beas Link Projects are already adding to the prosperity of the country. Himachal has a proud in sending large number of persons to serve in defence forces and many of them brought laurels to the State.
"MANDI" TOWN WAS NAMED AFTER "Mandavya Rishi" who performed spiritual quest here for years together. it is also known as "Town of Temples". in ancient, it is pronounced as "Chhoti Kashi"

The selection of the candidates shall be made on the basis of written test and interview.
Written Test:
(i) The written Test for the Post of Clerk-Cum-Cashier (Office Assistant) will be held on Sunday, 17-01-2010.
