he School of Open Learning [a part of the Campus of Open Learning] formerly known as The School of Correspondence Courses and Continuing Education, established under the University of Delhi in 1962, is a pioneer Institution in the field of Distance Education in India.

The country witnessed the beginning of an alternate mode of education when the School started with a modest admission of 900 students in 1962. The School enrolled more than two lakhs students in the Academic Session 2006-2007. On many occasions our students have been toppers in various disciplines. The admission process for various courses in the School is governed by the norms established by the University of Delhi. The examination is also conducted by the University of Delhi. The University of Delhi confers the degree to the students of the School as it does in the case of its other constituent colleges. There is no differentiation in the course curriculum followed by the School of Open Learning and other constituent colleges and Departments of the University of Delhi. In an effort to cater to the needs of a growing number of students the School established the South Study Centre at Moti Bagh from the academic session 1990-91. On the basis of the results of the Civil Services (Main) Examination, 2009 held by the Union Public Service Commission in October – November, 2009, the candidates with the under mentioned Roll Numbers have qualified for Personality Test for selection to the Indian Administrative Service, Indian Foreign Service, Indian Police Service and other Central Services (Group ‘A’ and Group ‘B’).

2. Candidature of these candidates is provisional subject to their being found eligible in all respects. 3. All the qualified candidates for Personality Test are required to download the Summary Sheet available on the Commission’s website http://www.upsc.gov.in and send the same duly filled in by speed post to the Under Secretary (Shri D.B. Das), Room No.423, Ayog Sachivalaya Building, Union Public Service Commission, Shahjahan Road, New Delhi-110069 within ten days from the date of declaration of result.

Personality Tests will be held in the Office of the Union Public Service Commission at Dholpur House, Shahjahan Road, New Delhi-110069. The date and time of Personality Test is being intimated to the qualified candidates individually. The date and time of Personality Test of candidates being called for Personality Test from 22.03.2010 to 06.04.2010 will be displayed on the Commission’s Website http://www.upsc.gov.in on 16th March, 2010 and the date and time of Personality Test of the remaining candidates will be displayed on 23rd March, 2010.
