The Karunya Institute of Technology was started as a private self-financing engineering college on 4 October 1986. In 2004, the institute was awarded the Deemed to be University status in recognition of its academic excellence by the Ministry of Human Resources Development, Government of India and subsequently renamed as Karunya University under section 3 of the UGC Act, 1956 vide Notification No. 9-3-2000-U3 dated. 23.6.2004 of the Government of India.

Results for 1999 to 2003 (Anna & Bharathiar University) batches of students will be published on 16.06.2010 at 2.00 PM
Question paper setting:





Only external faculty members who are experts in the subjects and recognised as paper setters/examiners in their parent University are selected as question paper setters/examiners. The panel includes examiners from IIT, Anna University, RECs, Deemed Universities, Government Aided Engineering Colleges and Self-financing colleges.

The level 3 subjects will have Double valuation and the rest single valuation.

The following facilities are given to the students who are under single and double valuation:

* Students are given the photocopy of the answer scripts on demand (for single valuation only)
*Revaluation This facility is given to the students who are under single valuation.
*Re-totalling For the subjects where double valuation is done

These facilities are available on payment of prescribed fee. The entire fee is refunded if there is a change of grade.
Publication of the Results:





1. After the valuation the results will be submitted to the Result Passing Board for approval.

2. The results are displayed in the Karunya website http://www/karunya.ac.in on the same day of publication.

3. The students and parents can verify their results, attendance internal mark etc. in the Internet.

Karunya University Entrance Exam Results 2010

1.Karunya Entrance Examination 2010 (KEE 2010) results will be published on 1st May 2010 11 am. Candidates are requested to download the KEE 2010 result from our website www.karunya.edu. A copy of self-attested downloaded KEE 2010 rank card to be produced on the day of counselling.

2. If the results of 12th std is announced before the day of counselling the candidates are requested to bring a copy of self-attested 12th std downloaded mark sheet to the counselling.

3. Admission counselling schedule and venue are given below. Candidates are requested to assemble in the counselling venue as given below. Late comers will not be permitted





i) Candidates who have studied in Tamilnadu, Kerala & Andhra Pradesh
BRANCH/COURSE ALLOTMENT IS PURELY BASED ON THE KEE 2010 RANK & AVAILABILITY OF SEATS. HOWEVER, IF THE CANDIDATE SCORES LESS THAN 60% IN MATHS & LESS THAN 60% IN AGGREGATE OF MATHS, PHYSICS AND CHEMISTRY IN THE 12TH STANDARD EXAMINATION, THE PROVISIONAL ADMISSION GIVEN DURING COUNSELLING WILL STAND CANCELLED

1.Karunya Entrance Examination 2010 (KEE 2010) results will be published on 1st May 2010 11 am. Candidates are requested to download the KEE 2010 result from our website www.karunya.edu. A copy of self-attested downloaded KEE 2010 rank card to be produced on the day of counselling.
