UCO Bank a leading listed Public Sector Bank invites ON LINE applications from Indian citizens for recruitment in the Clerical Cadre posts.
Candidates are requested to apply Online between 21.07.2010 and 28.08.2010 only through Bank’s website www.ucobank.com after making payment of application fee/postage. No other means/mode of application / printout will be accepted.

Scale of Pay : Rs 7200 – 400/3 – 8400 – 500/3 – 9900 – 600/4 – 12300 – 700/7 – 17200 –
1300/1 – 18500 – 800/1 – 19300
Minimum Qualification:
Pass with 60% marks in 10+2 examination or its equivalent OR a degree in any discipline.
For SC/ST/ Ex-Servicemen/PC Category candidates: Pass with 50% marks in 10+2 examination or its equivalent OR a degree in any discipline.
SELECTION PROCEDURE:
Selection will be made on the basis of performance in Written Test and Interview taken together. Merely satisfying the eligibility norm does not entitle a candidate to be called for Written Test or Interview.
Written test will be tentatively held on Sunday, 14.11.2010
Application Fee and Postal Charges (Non-refundable) :
SC/ST/PC/Ex-servicemen : Rs. 50/-
General (including OBC) : Rs. 300/-
PROBATION :
On appointment, candidates will be on probation for a minimum period of 6 months, which may be extended by another 3 months in the Bank’s discretion. On successful completion of the probation,they will be confirmed in the Bank’s service.
HOW TO APPLY
(i) Candidates are required to apply On-Line through Bank’s website www.ucobank.com only.
No other means/mode of application will be accepted
(ii) Candidates are required to have a valid personal e-mail ID. It should be kept active for the duration of this recruitment project. Bank may send call letters for written test, interview etc. through the registered e-mail ID. Under no circumstances, he/she should share/mention e-mail ID to / of any other person.
(iii) In case a candidate does not have a valid personal e-mail ID, he/she should create his/her new e-mail ID before applying on-line.
(iv) Candidates are first required to go to the Bank’s website www.ucobank.com and click on the Home Page to open the link “Recruitment”
(v) Thereafter, open the Recruitment Notification titled “UCO BANK CLERICAL RECRUITMENT PROJECT-2010″.
(vi) Take a Print of the ‘FEE PAYMENT CHALLAN’.
(vii) Fill in the Fee Payment Challan in a clear and legible handwriting in BLOCK LETTERS.
(viii)Go to the nearest UCO Bank Branch with the Fee payment Challan and pay, in Cash, the appropriate Application Fee in the designated CBS Account as given in the fee payment challan.
Please note that even if the date for Online registration is extended the dates for payment of application fee will remain unchanged i.e. 21.07.2010 to 28.08.2010.
CALL LETTERS FOR WRITTEN EXAMINATION :
The date of the Written Examination has been tentatively fixed for 14.11.2010 (Sunday). However, the date of Examination shall be intimated in the Call Letter along with the Centre/ Venue address. All eligible candidates will be issued Call letters at the correspondence address, given by the candidates in their onlineapplication , which will be sent by ordinary post. An eligible candidate who does not receive the Call letter by 06.11.2010 should contact the UCO Bank at the following address along with theapplication print out, ID Card and original fee payment challan for issue of duplicate Call letter.
Duplicate call letters will be issued at the following Bank’s offices between 08.11.2010 to 13.11.2010.
